Jeff Thomas grew up and attended school in Farmington, Michigan. He earned his

undergraduate degree in education, specializing in both history and music, from Eastern

Michigan University, and later received a master’s degree in music education from the

University of Michigan.


Jeff has lived in Ottawa Lake, Michigan for 25 years with his wife, LeeAnn, who is also a member

of the committee. Together, they have seven children and three grandchildren.



He currently serves as the Whiteford Township Supervisor and as a history teacher at Whiteford

Agricultural Schools. With 32 years of experience in education, Jeff is deeply committed to both

teaching and public service. His passion for serving the community led him to become involved

with the Whiteford Fall Festival at its beginning nearly six years ago.
