Jane Berry serves as the treasurer of the Whiteford Fall Festival Committee. She was born and

raised in Whiteford Township, where her family owns a local orchard and cider mill. She

attended Western Michigan University and later graduated with an associate’s degree in

construction management from Monroe County Community College.

Jane and her husband, Glen, continue to live in the township. Together, they have four children

who all attended Whiteford schools, as well as seven grandchildren, some of whom are

currently students there. She credits Glen as being the muscle and transportation behind many

of the festival’s projects, noting that much of what the committee accomplishes would not be

possible without his behind-the-scenes support. Their family is actively involved in 4-H and the

Monroe County Fair. They also own many antique tractors and participate each year in the

Mackinac Bridge Tractor Crossing.

Professionally, Jane has worked at Toledo Caisson Corporation, a family-owned construction

company, for nearly 50 years. She also spent 15 years as a school bus driver for Whiteford

Agricultural Schools. In addition, she owns and operates Posey Jane Flower Farm, where she

grows cut flowers and sells them at farmers markets and small events. The family also raises

Percheron draft horses and provides carriage rides at select events. Jane is also the

co-manager of the newly established Whiteford Farmers Market, which enjoyed a very

successful first year.

Jane enjoys volunteering in the local community and is committed to helping make Stoneco

Park an even better place for families to gather and enjoy
