Cate Miles grew up and attended Allen Park schools, where she developed a strong sense of community that has stayed with her throughout her life. In 2019, she and her husband, Max, moved to Ottawa Lake just one month before welcoming their first child. She currently works for the Monroe County Intermediate School District as a Teacher Consultant, where she has the privilege of supporting students and educators. Special education is truly her passion, and she is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.

When Cate learned about the need for a playground at Stoneco, it immediately resonated with her. As a parent of young children, she saw it as a meaningful opportunity to get involved, connect with others, and contribute to something lasting for the community. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, vacationing Up North, and planning family events.

Cate and Max have three children, and since Phase I of the playground was completed, their children often ask to visit “mommy’s park.” While they may not see all the work behind the scenes, it has been a true team effort. She is excited to continue serving on the committee and help bring Phase II to life.
