Ashley Ovall attended St. Joseph’s School in Erie, Michigan, and Saint Mary Catholic Central in Monroe, Michigan. She went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Siena Heights University. She is now married and a proud mother of three very busy children. Ashley and her husband have both lived in the area their entire lives. Over the years, they often ventured to other towns in search of fun playgrounds, wishing there was something closer to home. In 2021, a Facebook post from others who shared this same idea led to a meeting of a small group of local—mostly unfamiliar—community members. Together, they decided that Stoneco Park would be the perfect location and quickly organized a festival in just a few months. Today, the community now enjoys an amazing playground, with plans to continue expanding and improving it. Ashley is excited to see it all come together, made possible through the incredible support of their community.
